Authorities in Nigeria are building the nation in oppressive mode. Nigeria higher institutions are fast becoming institutions of the “pedagogy of the oppressed”, dissenting voices are continually being suppressed, imprisoned, suspend and expelled. On this note “Our Trumpeting Voices” is calling for submissions from all Nigerian students, and sympathizers to table their emotions, feelings and perception through the literary vehicle in a compilation of voices across all Nigerian Institutions of learning.
An anthology of brutality needs your short stories, poems and creative articles that reflect the human states in Nigerian higher institutions of learning.
Submission must be the original work of the author, must be creative.
Poetry has no restriction in the number of lines but must be within reasonable range and compelling.
Short stories and articles must not exceed 1,500 words.
All submission must be attached.
Subject for submission should be in this format “SUBMISSION-TRUMPETING VOICES-TITLE OF WORK(S)”.
No individual should submit more than three works.
Submission is open to all Nigerian students and sympathizers.
Writers should accompany their works with their bio not more than hundred words in third person pronoun
All shortlisted works will be compiled and published as an e-book and be available on online book platforms.
