QUESTIONS UNANSWERED By Zenny Lawls

Written by Editor

Isolating myself from the outer world
I wanted to figure out what was wrong
Disaster upon disaster
Things were falling apart
I decided to ask my self
Different questions
That could give hints to where the attacks came from

What wrong step did I take?
In which endeavor was I fake?
All my struggles were going down the drain
What was I to expect from fate?
I couldn’t figure out where I made mistakes
All my deeds were clear and straight
Why is my world turning its back on me?
Knowing fully well, i have nowhere to flee

Honesty was my watch word
Integrity was a part of me
My discipline was well instilled
And when you talk of hard-work, I gave all of it
Attaining success was not a wrong decision
I could clearly account for all my actions
With sincerity and hope I toiled
But now am left with none

Why was life playing games with me?
My attitudes towards it were not to kill
Why was the universe in support of my pain?
I had laid a good foundation to stay
I can’t help but wonder
Why my life is going down the gutter?
I seek answers to all my questions
And till I get one, I won’t give up and feel shut.
