Son, you need to lower your head now!
Except you want to live without it,
For our leaders won’t mind cutting it off,
Once you try to find answers to unheard questions.
Son, you need to conform to this bad society,
So you won’t be sent into the abyss of nothingness,
For the wicked won’t hesitate to hunt you down,
The very day you stand up without backing down.
Son! Facebook and Tweet like your mates do daily,
Social media is the new opium for this generation,
Why have you failed to be addicted to it?
Should I up the dose or you’re just immune to it.
Son, I want you to live hence do as I say,
Mingle with mates, punch keys and not face,
When intellectuals are being exterminated,
I want you to act as a dunce – stupidity appreciated.
Believe my words, let them guide you today,
Learn to live, love and maybe fall not astray,
Humanity might have lost human interaction,
Live! So you can write stupidity off civilization.
