DETERMINATION By Bolatito Lawal

Written by Editor

I stood in the middle of a river

Where no creature could see.

I am underneath a river

Where creatures think not.

I stood at the bank of a river

Where creatures are confused.

Must creatures know?

Must they see?

When everything seems different,

Humbugs are never left out.

It seems the road swizzles in my eyes

It seems I want to fall again

I stood up

I shook my body because I was drenched by the rain of my eyes

I said, I will never abdicate

I made up everything in me.

I stood at the bank of a river,

Gradually, I moved to the middle of the river where no one can touch

I am now on top of everything because of determination.
