SOMEWHERE WITHIN YOUR HEART By Jagunlabi Kodeman

Written by Editor

Somewhere within your heart
Fresh palm wine, waiting to be tapped
But how do we climb the palm tree

Somewhere within your heart
A sheep bleating in the midst of wolves
Who will save it from destruction?

Somewhere within your heart
A lion in the jungle, befriending the hyena
How does he battle with greed

Somewhere within your heart
A pollen grain waiting to be cross pollinated
When the wind clasps it to its bossom.
