IF ONLY By Ann Njuguna

Written by Editor

If only a call was enough

Enough to tell you how much I miss you

How much I miss us

How much I yearn for your hugs and kisses

I would call you all day and night

If a visit would bring what we had

What we shared

How you used to give me a tight hug

Promising to never let go

I would visit you today and never leave

If only one hug would revive our love

How you used to take my flaws as your pride

How you used to play your guitar and sing together

How I used to sleep on your arms feeling your heartbeat all night

How we used to cuddle before we sleep

I would hug you so tight and never let go

If only a kiss would remind us how we loved

How we kissed on the rain

Cuddle on the seashore

How we used to watch moves together

How we kissed when the moon and stars were busy watching us

Twinkling in the rhythm of our kiss

Then I would give you deep French kiss
