LOVE SONG By Hussaina

Written by Editor

I want to write you a love song
That describes every detail of how we keep Destroying each other
But Hey,
I know calling it
‘love’ makes it easier,
For us both!

I want to hum the lyrics in your ears telling you
how destructive it is to leave each other
In the middle of a street
because we didn’t need sex that night.

I want to play the tune on my guitar so you realize that it’s now time we stop missing each other on rainy mornings
And
Hugging at railways was never our thing.
It’s time we realize we’re NOT lovers.
//Honey,
We were never meant to be mediocre like them//

I want to shout the song on your face so awfully,
It’d remind you of the nights you banged my head on the wall
Or made me cut my hair
Because I looked alot like your ex in the floral dress you once gifted me.
/Now I know why you hate red lipsticks/

I want to sing it to you in the evenings
and stop
just a moment
before you fall in sleep.
Just how you stopped,
A moment before
You fell
