UNDESIRABLE EMOTIONS By Aremu Oluwapelumi

UNDESIRABLE EMOTIONS

Those times when you are really down

And life feels like hell

Faking a smile, trying to hide the frown

To paint a picture, ‘all is well’

Being asked ‘How are you?’

You are tempted to say what’s true

But you hide your feelings behind the word ‘fine’

Since you believe they don’t have your time

Thousands of emotions running through your gut

Hate, anger, pain and an unexplainable disgust

You feel like your heart want to burst

It okay, we all know it hurts

Do try to share

Some people  out there

Really do care

Try that, and see how you fare

You don’t have to be alone in your pains

Let’s be the shoulder you cry on

And your damaging emotion’s bane

Until you get your negative feelings won.
