TIGHT AS A KNOT By Josephinemary Uchechi

Written by Editor

Tight as a Knot my eyes were
In labour my heart beat
Drenched were my lips
As I wait to be quenched

In my prime I was
Mary I wanted to imitate
The apple I have eaten
And brave I had become.
