THE POOR HEART By Adesunwon Habideen

Written by Editor

As old as rode
As poor as a church rat
The little heart with odds
Savaging the restless kidney

The poor heart indeed
Creating excess for the arteries
Suffering the vein and arterioles
Boycotting by the nature of gland

For if he boycotts the old gland
Has vein committed any crime
Suffering the brain with disease
Savaging the falopian tube like juice.

The poor heart of soul
Unleashed it wrath on renal artery
Yet took no pity in vein and brain
Circumventing the blood with disease

The poor heart of odds
Destroying the gland with pods
Egocentric nature off all
Display in the nature of heart

After brain has been damaged
Kidney with malfunction
And the gland with infection
And the tongue filled with sour.

After all this has been unleashed
Creating unknown enemy for himself
Will he be able to survive himself?
Will the world laud his achievement
Or mock his failures?.
