When the rain falls, it leaves footprint on the face of the soil and the rivers drink to stupor. When an icon with a cognomen from the forest of words is being celebrated then, we see torrent of letters ruing into the corvette of paper and ink. Professor Y. K. Yusuff has seen the new year breaking from the shell of time, he has tame health and wealth in his porch where death and sorrow cannot invade.
Our elders would say, whenever we call a brave man we cross the bare floor with a sword. Professor is a living legend and an emblem of humility that tends to humiliate the arrogant ones. It is adorable to feast on his succulent words, picking his words like beans from a tray of sagacity. Feeding on his words showcase the axiom that ‘word is an egg’ flashing into ones digestive system of understanding.
Professor Y. K. Yusuff has it is usually appearing on the lips of all and sundry that one has to question why his initial and his name stand at ease like that. Not that his name is celestial but it is a trademark of being articulate and his stylistic lifestyle especially being on his spectacle makes him spectacular. A tall man and always classy in his native dress. Talk of his intellectual property that has created a basin into the waters of scholarship.
Werepe plant deliver itself and deliver the tree of the forest likewise. Professor Y. K. Yusuff has made himself and make others what they dreamt of. His support to the students and students’ association of Oke-Ogun created a crescent above the sea.
The prayer that “Ewe nla ko ni ru wewe ni ase Edumare” that is, Big leaf would not sprout small one shall be the case of Professor Y. K. Yusuff. You have climbed the hill of the elders, you shall not fall. This new age shall tick with hours of success, breakthrough and uplifting.
