WOMAN OF VIRTUE By Adesunwon Babatunde Habideen

Written by Editor

Epitome of beauty is your name.
But little does man notice this,
Your smile daunting across my imagination,
Making me wonder of your Angelic existence.

I will prefer loving and honouring you from afar.
To protect me from Zina. A fitnah.
But I also wish to protect you as mine,
To make you the queen of my palace.

But I must also protect you from it
Which is a sin in the sight
of the Almighty.

Till the right time for us,
When Zina shall have no say over us
Till we are right to make the choice,
Making you the queen of my heart

Till then, we will keep this friendship
And guide against Zina,
which fitnah could beget and civilization might drive us to.
All in the name of love.

Till then I will calm myself in Seeking guidance from Allah.
Against fitnah which beget Zina.
Till then I will call you
Ummu Amanah
