Poetry

MILES By Ebenezer O. Ayoade

Written by Editor

It takes months to appear on earth
the fountains mingle with the river
What all this sweet work worth?
The winds of heaven mix for ever
before sunset becomes cloudy
forever I ever say never
the mountains kiss high heaven

Travel to the feeding of sun and Moon
grease yourself not for flexibility
morning holds not on noon
to ensure universal connectivity
make your neck to refuse shiftiness
practice absolute positiveness
the mountains kiss high heaven

Nothing in the world is single
the company of stars is a star
All things by a law divine
a body without liver
In one spirit meet and mingle
firmament is a great teacher
the mountains kiss high heaven.
