DOMESTIC VIOLENCE By Ogunleye Bolanle Temidayo

Written by Editor

Did you know?
She was beaten to death
Even though she suffered an ill-health
She never enjoyed her wealth

Hmm, it was a height of violence
That she suffered in silence
She should’ve escaped through the fence

It’s pathetic
That she was beaten to stupor,
By a husband powered by liquor
When she had no succor

That she was beaten,
Is no longer a suspense
But a totality of nonsense

Hey Woman!
Your man should be a defense
A Man who has care to dispense
Yeah, he shouldn’t be dense

If he beats you in courtship
Chai! Break that relationship
‘Cos you aren’t cheap

Hey Man!
Be a real Man
A real man doesn’t beat a Woman
It makes no sense

See the red signal
