PLIGHTS OF MANHOOD By Uwandu Victory

Written by Editor

Banked in myriads like hatchings in a pond
Swimming in vast ocean of dormancy
From water to water, is how fishes survive
Man feels adamant to revive

Unto us a virile is born
The resonate of an antiquated dreams
Betokening the arrival of a pristine warrior

His divine essence is made manifest In a woman’s caress
But why seek he then a man to undress
Lust has been crowned king

No worry for earth is safe
The combatant is nurtured fortitude
But desire changes a man
Satisfactory becomes a must
The warrior falls prey to the flesh

Have wishes flown on wings?
Then the pleasure to be heard by kings
Between a woman’s thighs is key
But here stands many crumbling wee
Yet needing to see
That these pleasures are not to the hands need
Erotic stimulation of the boneless pipes
Caused by the thrust of sinful hands
Spreads white innocency on the clothed earth
Vain activities he executes

But why have you spilled fertility on the desert of mat
Can they still swim and grow
And be sharks that may one day rule the sea
What a waste
Androphile the opposite turns of a total waste

Nay, I pity a sower that sprays his seeds on the back of the rock
aware that they wont bloom nor can he later be
To his dried up barn

O I know the lustful goat
The bearded he-goat
And how he ascends mountains
With ease and indulging glee.
How he measures the water,
With the tip and wholeness of his stuck

Haha… A man will always be a man
Much is needed
Yet very little is really needed
Second King Solomons;
Too many wives to chastise

A man’s plight
Is a imagery of a dead light…
