WHEN MEN SLEEP By Uwandu Victory Udmavino

Written by Editor

When men sleep
Alone in bed i weep
Honeybees, birds and blooms unfurl an enchanting spell
The manner things go awkward i can never tell

When Men Sleep,
Inspiration of life, is a bit like thunder at night
A rather loud reminder that the world doesn’t care
if you’re sleeping.

When men sleep
Songbirds in the garden sing of swooning memories of rapture..,
I feel the verge of earthly departure
Weapons of vengeance, war I have not
Pondering with thoughts on how to merge the knot

A picture of perfect natural beauty I foresee
My ink bleed profusely
To send a message of reasoning
With spiced sauce of seasoning

When men sleep
My eyes turned red to examine the horizons of mysteries
