MURDER ON THE PULPIT By Lawben

Written by Editor

As a stranger

being alienated from the

common wealth, that

which is not really common.

But reserved for the hearer,

and accepter of the

message as proclaimed,

unto all creatures.

With joy and gladness,

did I receive the words

of justification worthy

of preserving souls and flesh.

Happily as a conqueror,

did I accept the message

with rays of hope on perpetual

understanding from the pulpit.

However, legion of disappointment avails me,

contrary to the ballad of grace

expounded by THE WORD.

Privy justifications are the

Platelets flowing through the

arteries of the pulpit, promulgating work’s decree.

Condemnation evolved as its

fetus with unconscious growth

into trepidation whose consequence is but death.

I say boldly,

Redeemed souls are victim of this murder caused by man’s

ignorance.

And once again, I say

A murder on the pulpit,

which is not a murder,

but a suicide.
