POWER By Adesunwon Babatunde Habideen

Written by Editor

Life is nothing but a reflection and
Power reflect through man’s greed,
Turning man’s trust into obsolete,
making enemy out of friends.

Power emanate from man’s greed,
Which it’s unsatisfying nature calls for more,
Piercing through man’s heart,
Making for him lust and deceit.

But little did man knows, that
Power is a grain of sand,
the more he holds on to it,
the more it slips out of his hand,
Until he is left with nothing.

Cowardice and fears then follow after much evil have been unleash.
In man’s search for power and wealth,
ignoring the wailing of the old,
Trampling on the helpless society, in search for the temporary existence of nature, which will lead to his calamity.

Indeed if man acquire all this power,
And bypassing the law of man,
Will he also bypass the law of the Creator, after entering the realm of spirit.
An unknown and unending journey which migration cannot define.

Indeed when man’s search for the outlaw power,
It will surely kill the better half,
Leaving nothing but evil in his heart.
And Man surely will leave all this behind in cruelty.
After his conquest for power.
