CANCER DID By Oladimeji Opeyemi Veronica

Written by Editor

I missed your humor
I missed your charisma
I missed your bad boy

I had loved you the way you were helpless
I had cared for you when you were careless
I had curdled you not minding your scares and smells

After all;
All you did was to leave without a goodbye
All you did was to reject my apology for the pain life had cost you
All you did was to leave me hanging waiting for your love

See you again!!!
See you again running to me in tears
See you again begging for bottle of milk

Maybe, I shouldn’t blame you
Maybe, it wasn’t your fault
Maybe, it wasn’t planned by God

Cancer did!!!
Cancer did take you away
Cancer did take away the love of a mother.
