BLOOD BOUND By Mujaheeda Olorunju Zakariyyah

Written by Editor

For all the times I ignored you,

Thinking I can do it alone,
I kept aloof and refuse to open up.

And that time I close my eyes,

Rejecting all the love you gave me, I’m sorry.
Those times I turned my back,
To the burning flames of your love

And the following water of affection towards me.

Naive have I become,
When I refuse to acknowledge your purview.
I’m sorry for my infantile behaviour
From your heart of tender love and care,
And with your hands of warmth,
Draw me close my tender brother,

Forgive your meek little sister.
