SHE HAD HER LIFE By So_Cynic

Written by Bada Yusuf Amoo

She had her life.
She planned to live it upright.
Each day up and bright,
Wanting to enjoy every bit of it’s light,
All things going all well and nice.
Then it comes this day of fright,
Behold a victim of circumstance,

Now she had a new life,
The one she led down slide,
Her days drag in tonight
All filled with little light
She got way too deep inside.
And she couldn’t find her way out.
Behold a victim of circumstance,

Her days now filled with darkness,
And her nights caught up in fear of nightmares
A glimpse of hope crossed her thoughts.
Where did it all go wrong
Life doesn’t seem like what it should mean,
Something inside her makes her hang on
She just didn’t know for how long
Behold a victim of circumstance,

She had a brave decision to take,
And holding onto life was her best choice to make,
She looked into the simpler things,
Solved her fears in little bits.
She searched her mind for a piece,
Behold she found in her mind some peace,
Victim of circumstance she was just in sync.
