SOLITUDE By Ibraheem Lateef and Bada Yusuf Amoo

Written by Editor

I am not alone
For this breezes
And walking winds
Visits my home.
To Caress my skin
I am not O! I am not
For rays
Of this everyday sun smiles
To my face like Angelina
I breed
some beautiful nights ago – Ibrahim

a love ago
a radical memory within
a vacuum in absence and longing
a solitary like a shelf by a broken history
a feeling like a baby kissing breast
a fabric of desire holding me
a science I lost, and logic too
a cold I hold in a corner
a proverb I believe not and will not
a long I hope as I wait in solitude – Bada
