SAVE MY SOUL By Ololade Edun (Ololade_writes)

Written by Editor

Save my soul from the shackles of the devil
Heed my prayers from the temple of good
Spare my head amongst the cursed ones
So that I don’t have to die in solitude.

Pray for me even when I don’t deserve it
For my sins are heavier than what you think
Bless me when men curse my soul
So that I don’t have to die in solitude.

Stand beside me when I’m weak to stand
Hold my hands when I’m afraid to shake
Let my inner self make peace with you
So that I don’t have to die in solitude.

Be my knight in shining amour
Even when I dream about you
Give me reasons to believe in you again
So that I don’t have to die in solitude.

Arrest the momentum of guilt in me
Set my mind free from evil of men
And my soul from the clogs of life
So that I don’t have to die in solitude.
