GRATEFUL HUMAN BEING By Kareem Taiwo

Written by Bada Yusuf Amoo

Got out crying
Thinking where am I?
Magnetic and joyous sounds filled my ear
I wanted to loose out
But a gracious human being held me back

Flows of milk circulated my mouth
Gat me in a mambo mood
Still wondering why I deserved that
But still, I continued sucking in no small measure

“Growth” came and took away that feeling
Got no power over that
But never knew an unforgettable and magnificent feeling awaits me

Transformation in action;
Now as a grown up boy, I knew this gracious human being better
But still, the care being shown to me keeps increasing everyday just like a bucket full of everlasting honey
Prayers for this gracious human being ruminated and sparkled in my brain

This gracious human being is my mother
I have to make her proud.
