BUOYANT BLISS by Lawal Mutalib Tunde

Written by Editor

I smelt some reasons from innate
That made me laugh and smile
In the eyes of mother.

She gave me endearing love
And I crawled like a snake
From floor to her root mind.

I told my mother, your love is immeasurable.
I will want to feel your touch again!
This is your son. Son of life!

Son of god! I received melodies
that beat in my mind each night.
Even in my solace, I found myself long in your arms. Son of love!

As if we were like Romeo and Juliet
That shared love of life in the chronicle.
O Lord, why did you take her away?

This is me. Replace me with her soul and give my touch to me.
The endearing has been lost already.
And you left me with no options than song of hope!
