PRAYING FOR AN ANGEL By Oládélé Ayò Qasoomah

Written by Editor

I say a prayer to your name
I whisper your name in the most secret of my supplications
I call you out in the most pious ways desire and lust can be brought together
I fast when I go without you
You move within me in the tenderest of possession
Your altar sits in my heart
And I lay at the base unworthy to die for your cause
I set fire to myself and see
if my sacrifice will make your head turn towards me
All I do is say a prayer to your name and hope
