RAPE By Musa Shehu Uthman

Written by Editor

He goes to church
May be in the mosque he prays
But when night falls, and it’s darkness spreads
He walks with his face in mask
Preying on our beautiful damsel
Hunting her, not for her blood or flesh
But her dignity which is fresh
That which her moral hides
Deep down beneath her aprons.
A treasure so dear to her
Keeping it save just for her husbands to find.
But the ungodly hunts
Preying for her without shame
As the devil whisper into his heart
Telling him…
There is a flower out there go fertilize
I hope you know who I symbolize?
His desire burns, much more like flame
There and then…
His morals demoralized
And his faith vaporized
Leaving him so demonize
So…
He attacked
Her chastity he vandalized
Battered, shattered and bruised
He left her soul traumatized
Profusely bleeding.
Boohoo boohoo…
“Men are the terrible gender”
She cried and caurse-laminated
As her blood osmocizes.
Truly…
Some men are demonized
If my poem terrorised
Don’t expect me to apologize
‘Cause our sister are traumatized
By many rapists demonised.
