RAMADAN By Paul Abiola Oku-ola

Written by Editor

Allah is divinity
Man, a sinful entity
Divinity and sin, two unlike poles that repel

Without the supreme, man can never survive
Failure, no matter his strive
To his rescue, Ramadan robes reality

‘Fast, pray and abstain from evil’ it tells
Now and especially when silence cloths my yells
Closer to you Allah shall be, if towards him you take a single dive

Ramadan, the product of Allah’s genuine love and mercy
The month to rejuvenate and be spiritually alive
Answer while it rings the bell
