My name is Onalekhelo
My name stands for trust
I am eight
and I hate to trust.

I have an uncle who my parents trust
He made me do, what no little angel should
I started knowing what no child should
He told me it was for my own good

That robbed me of my innocence,
Deprived me of a normal childhood
I’m not just sad
I’m marred deep within
The name is Onalekheloe
But I don’t know how to trust

Mommy says it’s gonna be fine
Daddy says it’s a matter of time
I still feel it’s my fault
But really, what did I do wrong?
