Aishat PoemShe gloomed in pain

Ripped apart glamorous heart

Drenched in a cold war

Of words, perpetrated by mates

Enormous beam

Recalcitrant, pugnacious

Offspring mates beam

In open field of eccentricity

Flaunting self developed ego

Muscles, like flamboyant peacock amidst chickens

Flaunt round its multiple colours

Mentally unripe

Held a consuming passion

Intellectual snobbery

Intellectual superiority complex,

Err and mar the hidden feelings

Of others

She gloomed in pain

Her glowing emb turned

Burning flame of fears

Bitter disappointment replaced fear

Bitterness is indeed

A foolish son to her that bares him

Winded happiness

Like miraculous mirage in deserts.

Sullen and morose is her state

For her umbilical knot w

With her produ

cts seemed to torn

Apart, by ties severer!

Birthed many scholastic intellectuals

A mother to all in aesthetics

A sine qua non in all human languages

Oh Mother NASELS!

When shalt thy heart be again gladdened?
