No wonder, these outstanding Nigerian Youths write about them from different perspectives, all compiled into one Poem by Bada Yusuf Amoo. They are the epitome of love and affection. Their innocents are as pure as virgin rose that only the love hearts could nurture for posterity sake. The contributors are James Ademuyiwa, Abdulhafeez T. Read the poem below:

Oh my child!

Ring your heart with love

Blow the air with peace

And live a king that serves

Children,

Innocently, troublesome creatures,

Till they are crawling and lisping,

Walking, talking and growing feathers

To initiate them into awesome social figures

Children are apples of the eyes

They are jewelries of the neck

They are tomorrow unspeaks

They are valuable resources unearth

Blessed is that little creature

The genesis of life

The memory of an adult

An arrow in the hand of a strong man

A child, greatest gift from God

A child, born to grow and be great

A child, deserves to be happy

A child, future leader

The products of our cultivation

The smiles on our faces

Our replica on the soil when we live

Our children, our pride, our future

Weird is our string of love

For it wove eternal Bliss

Our amity language, riddle solves

As together we stand, in freedom glimpse

God’s gift to homes,

Neither cheats nor abuse infants

Our hopes, our future,

Diamonds of the world

You are wine poured into Mama’s cup

The sweetness that erases barrenness

To taste life you were born

But without you life passes empty.

Children are the future of tomorrow,

The very essence of complete society

Therefore we must teach, train, encourage…

For in their growths lie our growths

Oh children, listen to the wind

The future is bright, so be yours

Be all glad, glows and determine

You are all ideal
